“motion texture” Special DVD-BOX
「存在する映像」というコンセプトを軸に、さまざまな表現の実験を試みた「motion texture」プロジェクト。偶然性を制作過程に大胆に取り入れ、モーショングラフィックスをドキュメンタリー映像として記録した「motion texture DVD」。そして、映像の佇まいを空間の中で体験するインスタレーション「motion texture Installation」。この二作品の発表を記念して「motion texture DVD-BOX」は制作された。
The “motion texture” project has been experimented with various forms of expression based on the concept of “images that exist.” Boldly incorporating coincidence into the production process, “motion texture DVD” records motion graphics as documentary footage. Then there is “motion texture installation,” which allows visitors to experience the presence of images in the space.
DVD-BOXのデザインは、クリエイティブユニット「graf 」が担当。「存在の象徴」として佇む椅子をモチーフに、「motion texture Installation」の空間を実在するモノとして再現。 さらに「motion texture DVD」をアクリルボックス左手側にセットすることにより、この「motion texture DVD-BOX」は完成する。

The DVD-box was produced to commemorate the release of these two works and its package was designed by the creative unit “graf.” Using a chair as a symbol of existence as a motif, the space of “motion texture installation” is reproduced as a real object. In addition, this “motion texture DVD-BOX” is completed by setting the motion texture DVD on the left hand side of the acrylic box.
